Northrop Grumman Space & Electronics Division, contracted with Cetec to upgrade its TOS system and its Security Management tools in full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Perhaps the most important function within any mission critical application is its security access management. Providing a controlled means to view, edit or ensure security is not only a primary installation requirement but also a mandate for day-to-day use.  Cetec Automation answers that mandate by providing all of the functions in its TOS applications with superior security controls in a separate security management module accessible from the administrative functions of its TOS control panel. These functions, protected from external intervention, in turn identify all TOS system users, their access rights, and their level of authority within those rights - all from the initial log-on into the TOS application.

Using this security management module, resource tracking solutions provided by Cetec's TOS applications series maintain the maximum functionality permitted to users at all levels of its access while retaining effective control of the entire application process. Additionally, security settings within the module directly comply with published Sarbanes-Oxley security protocols.
