It is a Time Optimization Series of applications, which consists of intelligent Workforce Management Solutions designed for the resource intensive enterprise to make the most effective use of labor time, its most valuable asset. The TOS web solution, contains all the functions a user will need to install and configure its applications in accordance with requirements identified at the installation site. TOS includes a setup and installation module keeping deployment process in compliance with site requirements. Database mapping, field and heading vernaculars changes, value lists, menu selection and application control definitions are all key functions of the Setup & Installation Modules. Also, It allows activity code format identification and cost control attributes. For its skill-based demand initiated scheduling system, various setup and configuration options are included. Its tips distribution and compliance system, attribute definitions are required for the proper operation of the system. Setup of employee profiles and profile parameters is also a required task supported by the Setup & Installation Module. Shift parameters and rotation cycle setup are important function of the TOS system.
Further, the TOS system is based upon accurate scheduling of employees throughout the work facility. A master and default schedule must be setup to identify employee’s default shifts and entitlement time-off schedule if available at time of installation. In some installations employees particular work location, sub-location, department are required.. Often, these values are available from the enterprise HR system, which are imported by the DEX data exchange engine. Finally, TOS includes a production monitoring and control system designed for both discrete, assembly and process manufacturing, executing orders/and operations through shop floor transactions reported by both hourly and salary employees. Specific transaction needed at the installation sites are configured in accordance with enterprise requirements.
