Time & Labor Reconciliation (T&L)
Labor work time reconciliation with employee attendance time-line is performed in real-time for accurate cost allocation and distribution. Gaps between jobs in excess of allowed time are tracked for productivity measurement performed by the system. Time & labor separates time segments such as overtime in cost allocation records. Also, a job may consists of multiple segments performed in different shifts, time frames and by a number of employees working in sequence or in parallel. Accurate reconciliation and of labor time into cost segments is performed by the T&L application.

As a result, cost distribution is performed within the T&L process based upon default or reported cost elements applicable at the installation site. The system creates detailed records at time of work reporting for each segment of time within a shift allocated to a cost element or cost center and by employee or a crew of employees. Detailed cost records are maintained in a year to date archive and reported in various forms and formats. Actual cost vs. standard cost is also calculated at time of reporting.

Reconciled records and adjusted for cost accounting update are available for any segment of time. Indirect work accounts records are also created as part of the T&L time allocation. None productive time recorded from occurring gaps in any job segment are also reconciled and balanced for productivity reporting and efficiency calculations.

Final time-line adjustment of labor cost records are performed based upon calculations utilizing Cetec’s Rules-based Decision Support Logic (RDSL).
