The company is using TOS system to track employees work time integrating with Oracle Project Accounting and People Soft HR/Payroll systems. Cetec implemented a multi Union system with extensive regulatory constraints and rules applied to the energy sector of the industry.

The use of the TOS system in Oil and Chemical facilities adds to improve labor utilization, reduce staggering labor cost and enhance productivity through its Demand Based Scheduling. TOS allows daily and weekly gross pay records to be generated automatically, balanced and reconciled with employees work activities.
As part of the CITGO project, Cetec provided integration with a recently installed security system. Cetec’s SAP interface is used since CITGO has recently converted its accounting, HR and Payroll to SAP. A key component of the TOS system installed at CITGO is its skill-based crew scheduling using Cetec’s Demand Initiated Scheduling system. Supervisors and managers will assign employees for work by location, sub-location, position, skill and skill level with a minimum of effort. The system is using SAP HR to update its roster and employee status.
